Just add: 1 egg & 75g butter
Jar size: 0.5 litre
Makes approx: 18 – 20 cookies
Instructions: Tip the Smarties® out and set aside. Pour the remainder of the contents into a mixing bowl. Add 1 egg and 85g melted butter. Mix together by hand until blended. Take a dessert spoon of mixture, roll into a ball and flatten slightly. Put on to a baking sheet and repeat with the remaining mixture. Bake at 180oC/fan 160oC/gas 4 for 12-15 mins or until just firm on top (they will harden as they cool). Remove from oven and press the Smarties® onto the top of each cookie. Gently transfer to a cooling rack. If in a hurry don’t worry about separating the Smarties, just mix everything and bake.
Store in an airtight container for 3 days or freeze for 1 month.
Note: This mix does not contain nuts but is produced in an environment which handles nuts.
